Built by the Grand Trunk as a business car in 1896. It was named "Violet" and eventually became CN 95. It was rebuilt as an Auxiliary Cook Dining and Bunk car 58976 in 1954 and was assigned to the Edmundston auxiliary. In 1974 a sleeping car was added to the auxiliary and 58976 was converted to full cook & dining. In the early 1980s the Edmundston auxiliary was disbanded but 58976 was held because of its age and significance as a museum piece. It was stored for a number of years in the Edmundston roundhouse before being moved to Moncton. This car was totally destroyed in the 1994 fire.
